Cilaos, Reunion Island, France, 2022-04-10. Low participation in the first round of the presidential election in Cilaos, a small town in the highlands of Reunion Island. The turnout was 44.48%, or more than 55% of abstention. Jean-Luc Mélenchon came first, as on the rest of the island, with 49.53% of the votes, followed by Marine Le Pen with 25.07%. Jean-Luc Mélenchon est arrivé en tête, comme sur le reste de l'île, avec 49,53% des voix, suivi par Marine Le Pen à 25,07%. L'actuel président Emmanuel Macron se classe loin derrière.
